Breakfast with Farfetch

I’ve been a fan of Farfetch for many years, the premise is simple – you can shop boutiques and concept stores around the globe all from one online marketplace. So it’s great for sourcing those hard-to-find designer and contemporary clothes.  I was invited to breakfast with the brand on the roof of The Boundary Hotel in Shoreditch to talk about the future of Farfetch. It’s very exciting to say the least, they’ve acquired Brown’s, the iconic London boutique, so expect a concept store soon! Plus as well as fashion they’re branching out into beauty and homewares.  The beautiful Bella Freud candles you see below were ordered from one of Farfetch’s boutiques and will be taking pride of place in my home.  Do check out Farfetch, it’s an essential site for fashionistas. And if you get the chance I can highly recommend breakfast at The Boundary.  SHOP FARFETCH  Thank you to Farfetch for a lovely breakfast. And in the interests of transparency my candles were gifted.

When I saw this amazing idea I knew that this is how I wanted to commemorate my round the world trip – with a stunning hardcover photobook by Artefact Uprising. The sister company of my favourite photo editing app VSCO Cam, Artefact Uprising take your photographs from either your app, iPhone or camera and let you turn them into your own book. Choose the layout, number of pages and colour of the book and arrange your pics anyway you want. I think this is SUCH a great way to collate all your travel memories and create a beautiful reminder of your trip. Hardcover photobooks from £43 Artefact Uprising

Everyone and their dog has a blog these day, literally, and I’m no different. While there may be a few naysayers who poke fun at the blogging community, I have made great friends through blogging, made a bit of money and had some amazing experiences – being flown to Denmark and Switzerland, partying with Rihanna, writing for my favourite magazines are just a few. So if you’re going travelling I urge you to start a blog, even if it’s just for you and your friends back home to read, it’s an excellent way to document an exciting time in your life, and it could lead to lots of great opportunities! I do not claim to be the expert at blogging, far from it, but I have been blogging in some form or another since 2010 – both personally and professionally – so I’ve picked up a few tricks (and some awards). If you’re interested, read on, ‘cos I’m sharing them! Get a Head Start If you know you’re going away in a year or 6 …
